On Family, Part 1

I just got back from celebrating Grandma Joan's 80th birthday in Oklahoma. It was delightful! Though unbearably hot. And disgustingly humid.

Grandma's 80th birthday celebration began with a delicious breakfast on Saturday morning. We spent the day enjoying the company of the C-L-B clan - I saw aunts and great aunts that I have not gotten to visit with in years, one uncle, two cousins, and of course, my grandparents. We played a wicked game of Cranium (as games with family are prone to be)....My dad, grandpa, mom (for a short while), and I were able to sneak in a little fishing.......for some little fish.
We then got all gussied up for Grandma's party!
(yes, the picture is crooked, you don't have to adjust your screen).

Sister and I tried our best to cause trouble...
But it is hard to compete with a woman who is about to eat that much sugar!!!!
Happy Birthday, Grandma Joan! We all love you very much!!!
